For life after GLP-1 medicines

The weight came off. Let's keep it that way.

Hold is a calm daily check for people who lost weight on a GLP-1 medicine and are stopping or cutting down. Ten seconds each morning. A trend that ignores daily noise. A quiet early warning if the weight starts to creep back.

No card needed to start. Not medical advice: Hold never tells you how to take, lower, stop or restart a medicine.

Demo data: a fictional person. A holiday weekend, a few amber weeks, then back to green.

The fear is real. So is the pattern.

When people stop weight-loss medicines, studies have found that many regain a good part of the weight within a year. Appetite comes back first. The scale follows weeks later, when it feels late.

The people who do best tend to notice the drift early and act while it is small. That is hard to do alone, because one morning on the scale can mean nothing, or everything. Hold tells the difference for you.

How Hold works

  1. Step 1

    Weigh in. 10 seconds.

One big number each morning. Add a note if you like. Missed a day? That is fine, the trend copes with gaps.

  2. Step 2

    Watch the trend

Your weigh-ins are smoothed into one line, with your maintenance band around your goal. Daily noise disappears.

  3. Step 3

    Get an early warning

If the trend (not a single weigh-in) rises above your goal, Hold turns amber, then red, and tells you gently.

  4. Step 4

    Run a 7-day reset

A short checklist: protein each day, a daily walk, two strength sessions, a daily weigh-in. Nothing about calories or medicine.

Three colours. One calm message.

Hold watches the smoothed trend against your goal.

  • GreenWithin about 0.75 kg (1.7 lb) of your goal. Keep going.
  • AmberDrifting up. A nudge, nothing more.
  • RedMore than 1.5 kg (3.3 lb) above goal. Time to act early with the 7-day reset.

The red is a soft coral on purpose. Hold is not here to scare you.

Example plan · goal 80 kg

  • Maintenance band
78.5 to 81.5 kg. Daily swings inside it are normal.
  • Protein 96 to 128 g a day
A general guide of 1.2 to 1.6 g per kg of goal weight.
  • Walk 30 minutes a day
Set your own time in Settings.
  • 2 strength sessions a week
Anything that makes your muscles work.

Questions

Does Hold tell me how to stop my medicine?

No. Hold never gives advice about doses, tapering, stopping or restarting any medicine. Every one of those questions is for your doctor or prescriber. Hold only helps with what you do day to day: weighing, protein, walking and strength work.

What is the trend, and why not just use the scale?

Your weight moves by a pound or two from day to day because of water, salt, hormones and sleep. Hold smooths your weigh-ins into a trend line that follows the real direction. Warnings come from the trend, never from one heavy morning.

When does the early warning start?

Amber when your trend is about 0.75 kg (1.7 lb) above your goal, red when it is more than 1.5 kg (3.3 lb) above. Red starts a simple 7-day reset: protein each day, a daily walk, two strength sessions and a daily weigh-in.

Does Hold ask me to eat less?

No. The reset is about protein, movement and routine. Hold gives no calorie targets and never suggests eating below safe levels.

What happens after the 7-day free trial?

You choose a plan or you keep a free version. Without a subscription you can still weigh in and check in, but the trend chart, zones, weekly report and reset are locked. Your data stays yours either way.

Is Hold a medical device? Is it for everyone?

No. Hold is not medical advice and not a medical device. It is not for people under 18, people who are pregnant, or anyone with a history of an eating disorder. If that is you, please talk to your doctor first.

What data do you keep?
